Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Prayer Commending Oneself to Mary:
O holy Mary, my Mistress, into thy blessed trust and special blessing, into the bosom of thy tender mercy, this day, every day of my life and at the hour of my death, I commend my soul and body; to thee I entrust all my hopes and consolations, all my trials and miseries, my life and the end of my life, that through thy most holy intercession and thy merits, all my actions may be ordered and disposed according to thy will and that of thy divine Son.   Amen.

Archdiocesan Annual Appeal:  October 23rd and November 20th.  Please give generously.  Please make cheques payable to the Archdiocese of Halifax or pay with your credit card online at www.catholichalifax.org. 

Marian Month of October:  During the month of October, the Rosary will be said 25 minutes prior to weekday morning Masses, as well Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday evening at 6:00pm.  Please join us as we pray the Rosary for the growth of our parish and for our own intentions.

Country Time Show:  This Sunday, October 16th at 7pm.  Admission is $6.  Master of Ceremonies is Al Hollingsworth; Back up Band is Grover Country featuring: Hayden Stover, Mort Lohnes, Lawrence Myers, Eddie Clarke, Larry Boutilier & Friends.

Liturgy Committee Meeting:  This Tuesday, October 18th at 5:00pm in the hall.

Parish Council Meeting:  This Tuesday, October 18th at 7:00pm in the hall.

Pomorze:  Invites you to a dinner theatre entitled ‘Dozynki’, a Polish Harvest Celebration, on Saturday, October 22nd.  Doors open at 6:30pm and show starts at 7:00pm in the hall.  $25 at the door and there will be a cash bar.  Music by DJ Wolak until 1:00am.  Tickets can be pre-purchased for $20, call Jerry at 448-1252.

Tickets for Sale:  On a quilt and a Steamer Basket - $2 each or 3 for $5.   Please call Gordon Jewers at 469-5698.

Women’s Association:  If anyone is interested in joining our Women’s Association at St. Anthony’s, please contact Jennie at 464-1561.
