Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Sunday, March 17th we commemorate Saint Patrick.
Tuesday, March 19th we celebrate the Solemnity of Saint Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Pope Francis will hold an Inauguration Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica, Vatican (5:30 AM ADT).
Next Sunday, March 24th, we celebrate Palm Sunday


Pastoral Council Meeting: This Tuesday, March 19th in the hall, after the 6:30pm Mass.

Lenten Reconciliation Service for our Dartmouth District: This Wednesday, March 20th at 7:00pm at St. Peter’s Parish. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Development & Peace ~ Share Lent: This weekend is we will be taking up a collection for Share Lent. This collection is to help developing countries. Christians are urged to share their goods with others and thus express in a concrete way their desire to come closer to God and all God’s children as a result of their lenten efforts. Thank you for your donation to Development & Peace.

Stations of the Cross: During the Lenten Season, join us for Stations of the Cross every Friday at 8:30am in English and 6:30pm in Polish. Please join us in prayer.

Easter Flowers: If you would like to make a donation to help us purchase flowers for the Altar for Easter, please put your donation in an envelope and write Easter Flowers, with your name, amount and envelope number. If you need an envelope they are on the table near the entrance of the church. Thank you for your donation!

Country Time Show: This Sunday, March 17th at 7:00pm. Admission is $6. Come out and enjoy the show and help support St. Anthony’s Parish! Master of Ceremonies – Al Hollingsworth with Back-up band Grover Country featuring: Hayen Stover, Yvonne MacDonald, Mike Axworthy, Jim Tynes, Lucy Fleming, Ronnie Masters.
