Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Bulletin: 10th Sunday in Ordinary Time

The Month of June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  Please join us as we say the Litany of the Sacred Heart after each Mass.
This Saturday, June 8th, we celebrate the Memorial of The Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Do not lose heart ~ I will never forsake you; my Immaculate Heart will be your refuge, and the way that will lead you to God.  Sacrifice yourselves for sinners, pray the Rosary every day.  I am the Lady of the Rosary.’
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death.
Be our refuge and the way that will lead us to God!

Thursday, June 13th, we celebrate the Memorial of St. Anthony of Padua – Mass at 9:00am
St. Anthony, thank you for watching over us at St. Anthony’s Parish.

Please join us next Sunday, June 16th,  Mass at 11:00am with Archbishop Anthony Mancini  who will prescide and bless our new stained glass windows.

2013 Polish Festival:  We have extra prizes donated for the Festival this year.  In order to raise funds, we want to try and sell tickets on the grounds to win a specific prize.  We are looking for teams of 2 to sell the tickets for a 1 hour period each time.  If anyone can spare an hour to help sell, please contact either Linda Young at 466-0144 or Gordon Jewers at 469-5698 and let us know what day y our team would be there so that we can complete the schedule. 

13th Annual Polish Festival:  Saturday, June 15th from 12:00pm-12:00am; Sunday, June 16th from 12:00pm-6:00pm.  Lots of great ethnic food, music & dancing, a beer garden, and raffle and games.  First prize $800.  See Gordon Jewers to purchase raffle tickets or call him at 469-5698.
