Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Announcements: 21th Sunday in Ordinary Time

  • Starting the first week in September, the Brothers will be having Morning Prayer from Monday to Thursday each week starting at 7:30am in the Church Chapel/Board room. We will be following the Liturgy of the Hour with our recently donated prayer books.  Please do not be afraid to join us, everyone is welcome.
  • Catechism for children and youth starts this fall, please see Peter Dean or Br. Nathanael if you would like to register your child.
  • We will be having RCIA – Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults this coming year.   Please let Br. Nathanael know if you have anyone interested in attending.  Dates and times to follow.
  • Thanks to George the next Country Time Show will be Sunday, September 15th at 7:00pm.  Admission is $6.  Come out and bring your friends.
  • There will be a flea market on Saturday, September 28th from 9:00am – 3:00pm and after the 4:00pm Mass from 5:00pm – 6:30pm.  It will also be held after the 9:00am Mass on Sunday until approximately 2:30pm. Donations are greatly appreciated, please see Gordon Jewers.
  • If you have any refundable bottles to donate, please drop them off in the boardroom before or after Mass.  All proceeds go towards our Outreach Program. We would like to thank you so much for those who have donate so much already.
  • We have started to buildup our Sunday morning Choir (9am Mass). Do not be afraid to share your voice to Praise our Lord. If you are interested please see Carol Holland or Joanne Nelson or come out on Tuesday night practices @ 7pm in the Church.
