The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

Pickles, Pickles, Pickles!: It’s time to get going on our Fall pickling project. Anyone who has mason jars left from last year, please bring them in.  If you would like to help with the process of pickling, please call John LeBlanc at 469-4366.

Adoration:   We are having Adoration with Rosary every Thursday night from 7:00pm – 8:00pm.  Let us come together to pray for Pope Francis’ intention for peace and hope for reconciliation in the world.

Country Time Show:   This Sunday, September 15th at 7:00pm.  Admission is only $6.  Master of Ceremonies is Al Hollingsworth with back-up band Grover Country, featuring: Vickie Kaizer, Doug Cluney, Cecil MacDougall, Amy & Ron Verge, and Jon Cys.  Come out and enjoy the show!

Catechism & RCIA:  If anyone would like to register their child for Catechism, or if you are an adult who would like to register for RCIA, please see Br. Nathanael or call him at the parish office.

Flea Market & Luncheon:  There will be a flea market and luncheon in the hall on September 28th & 29th. On Saturday, September 28th the market will run from 9:00am-3:00pm and from 5:00pm-6:30pm and on Sunday, September 29th from 10:00am to 2:30pm.  Fish and corn chowder with desert, tea or coffee will be served for $7.  For information, contact Gordon Jewers at 469-5698.

Outreach Program:  If you have any refundables to donate, please drop them off in the boardroom before or after Mass.  All proceeds go towards our Outreach Program.

St. Vincent de Paul  Society: ‘Item of the Month’ for September is a jar of peanut Butter.
