Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

God, Our Father, in a wonderful way You guide the work of Angels and men. May Sts. Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, and all Your Angels who serve You constantly in Heaven, keep us safe from all harm on earth.  Grant this through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God, forever and ever.  Amen.

Fall Gathering & Fundraising: Saturday, October 5th after the 4:00pm Mass. Free Soup Dinner with roll, tea & coffee (dessert available for $2) On Sale for $5 per jar:  Pickled Beets, Mustard Pickles, Green Tomato Chow, Cucumber Relish, Blueberry Jam, A package of Friendship Soup; Fudge will also be on sale.   Come out and enjoy time and a meal with your St. Anthony’s community!

Flea Market & Luncheon:  Continues today (Saturday) from 5:00 to 6:30pm and Sunday from 10:00am to 2:30pm.  Free admission to the flea market and fish or corn chowder with dessert, tea or coffee will be served on Saturday at 5:00pm. 

First Friday of the Month:  October 4th ~ Mass in Polish at 6:30pm.

Lottery Ticket Draw:  The draw will take place at the Country Time Show in December.  You can purchase tickets or help sell a book of 10 to your friends.   See Gordon or Shayne after Mass. 

Choir Practice:  Tuesday at 7:00pm in the church (choir for the Sunday 9:00am Mass). 

Blessing of the Pets for the Feast of St. Francis: Saturday, October 5th at 1:00pm.  The Blessing will take place outside in the parking lot. Feel free to bring your pets to church for a blessing!
