Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Everyone is encouraged to join us! Catholicism Series
This Tuesday, January 14
th at 7:00pm in the hall, for a DVD showing (10 series) by Fr. Robert Barron. From the sacred lands of Israel to the beating heart of Uganda...from the glorious shrines of Italy, France, and Spain, to the streets of Mexico, Kolkata, and New York City, the fullness of CATHOLICISM is revealed.
Journey deep into the Faith as you watch each episode with us!
Afterwards, we will have a short discussion (approximately 15 minutes) to share our thoughts. Tea & Coffee will be provided.
Open to EVERYONE!

Pastoral Council Meeting: Tuesday, January 21st at 7:00pm in the hall.

St. Anthony’s Rosary Prayer Group: There are 20 people in the Rosary group each praying a decade for the Rosary daily. Each month on the first Sunday of the month you move on to the next decade. When everyone participates, a full Rosary is said daily. The list of names is being updated of who is doing each decade. If you are interested in continuing with the Rosary group or joining the group, please speak with Joanne Nelson at 464-1981.

Country Time Show: Next Sunday, January 19 at 7:00pm. Admission is only $6! Master of Ceremonies is Al Hollingsworth with Back-up Band Grover Country featuring: Diane Gould, Vic Ivany, Jason Price, Ray Hill and Howie Shepherd. Come out and join us!

2014 Church Envelopes: If you haven’t already, please pick up your boxed set near the main entrance. Anyone who is not registered with the parish, please call the office and leave your name, phone number and address and we will ensure you receive a box for 2014.
