Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

30th Anniversary of St. Faustina’s Polish Mission - Please come and join us after Mass on Sunday, October 5th at 2:15pm for a special Polish luncheon. $10 per plate. Everyone is welcome!

Prayer Community: Our next prayer gathering will be this Tuesday, October 7th at 7:00pm in the boardroom of the church. Everyone is welcome to come to any session. We hold the sessions every Tuesday night - except for the 3rd Tuesday of the month, when we have our Pastoral Council meeting. Please join us & invite a friend!

Lottery Tickets: The Fall Lottery is in full swing. The first prize is a beautiful quilt and second prize is a signed picture of Nathan MacKinnon. There are 5 prizes all together. Please see Gordon at the main entrance of the church after Mass to buy your tickets. We can still use your help in selling books of tickets.

Flea Market: Our next flea market is on the weekend of November 1st & 2nd. We are now accepting donations. Please call Gordon at 469-5698.

Bingo Equipment: If anyone is interested in starting and running a Bingo for St. Anthony’s fundraising using our equipment, please see Br. Nathanael. Our final decision will be voted on at our next Council meeting in October.

Country Time Show: The next event is Sunday, October 19th at 7:00pm. Come out and enjoy the show! Admission is only $6. Master of Ceremonies is Al Hollingsworth with back-up band Grover Country, featuring: Florence Axford, Diane Gould, Jim Tynes, Jason Price, Wayne Hilchey, Bruce Carpenter, Doug Clooney, and Allister McDonald.

St. Vincent de Paul Society: Item of the month for October is pasta sauce. The donation box is located near the entrance. Thank you!
