St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church & St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission

Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported Acadian Night last Saturday. Thank you to all of the people who worked the event and for those who helped in any way.

Our next meeting for Catholicism Series will be NEXT Tuesday, February 25th at 7:00pm. (There will be no session on February 18th)

Country Time Show: This Sunday, February 16th at 7:00pm. Only $6 admission! Master of Ceremonies is Al Hollingsworth with Back-up band Grover Country featuring: Yvonne MacDonald, Mel MacLeod, Carl Firth, Amy Verge, Amy Verge, Ron Verge and Jim Tynes.

Pastoral Council Meeting: This Tuesday, February 18th at 7:00pm in the hall.

Income Tax Receipts: Are available for pick-up at the table near the entrance. Thank you for your donations during 2013.

Outreach Program: Please continue to support our Outreach Program by dropping off your recyclables after Mass. See Rupert Lewis or call him at 466-6788.

St. Vincent de Paul: ‘Item of the Month’ for February is canned milk. Thank you!

Evans and Doherty Concert: Back by popular demand, Evans and Doherty will perform on Friday, March 28th at 7:30pm at Blessed Pope John XXIII Church. Tickets are $20. Please call 435- 3090. Proceeds in support of the building fund.
