St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church & St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission

Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

There is a different theme each week, so please feel free to join us any evening even if you can’t make all sessions. Open to everyone! Afterwards, we will have a short discussion (approximately 15 minutes) to share our thoughts. Tea & Coffee will be provided.

Ash Wednesday: Service will be at 7:00pm on March 5th.

Country Time Show: Due to the storm last week, the show is this Sunday, February 23rd at 7:00pm. Only $6 admission! Master of Ceremonies is Al Hollingsworth with Back-up band Grover Country featuring: Yvonne MacDonald, Mel MacLeod, Carl Firth, Amy Verge, Amy Verge, Ron Verge and Jim Tynes.

Financial Statements: For the year 2013 are now available (if you didn’t receive a copy in your bulletin), they are available near the entrance of the church.

Spring Flea Market: We will be having a flea market this Spring. If you have any items to donate, please see Gordon Jewers or call him at 469-5698.

Polish Luncheon: Will be after the Mass in Polish on March 2nd at 2:00pm. $10 per plate. Everyone is welcome to join us!

Income Tax Receipts: Are available for pick-up at the table near the entrance. Thank you for your donations during 2013.

Outreach Program: Please continue to support our Outreach Program by dropping off your recyclables after Mass. See Rupert Lewis or call him at 466-6788.
