Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Rosary Group: This Sunday, May 4th we move on to the next decade of the Rosary.

Pastoral Council Nominations: Nomination forms are available at either entrance of the church for the Pastoral Council for the coming year. Please take the time to ask someone if they will serve on the council. For more information talk to Gordon Jewers.

Yard Clean-Up: If you are interested in raking around the church property, please see or contact Rupert Lewis at 466-6788 or John LeBlanc at 469-4366.

The Great Spring Draw: Tickets for our Great Spring Draw will be available next week. This will help us raise money for the roof repairs. See Gordon Jewers, Ticket Master .

Luncheon: This Sunday after the 1:00pm Mass in Polish. $7 per plate not including coffee/tea & dessert.

Country Time Show: The next show will be Sunday, May 18th at 7:00pm. Admission is $6. Enjoy the night out with your friends!

Spring Flea Market: Have you done your spring cleaning yet? If you have any items to give away, Gordon is taking donations for our flea market which will take place on May 31st and June 1st. Please see Gordon Jewers or call him at 469-5698. Remember, ‘one man’s trash is another man’s treasure’.

Visitation Ministry: If anyone would like to be part of our home visitation ministry, and visit our infirm parishioners, or if you know of someone who is in need of a home visit, please see Vince Young after Mass.

St. Vincent de Paul: ‘Item of the Month’ for May is peanut butter.

Outreach Program: Please continue to support our Outreach Program by dropping off your recyclables after Mass. See Rupert Lewis or call him at 466-6788.

Hospital Visits: If you know anyone who is in need of or would like a hospital visit, please see Br. Nathanael.
