Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Corpus Christi Procession: Next Sunday (June 22nd), we will celebrate Corpus Christi with the procession starting at 1:00pm and Mass following at 1:30pm. Fr. Irek Bem will be the main celebrant. We will have four altars – two for English speakers and two for Polish speakers. If anyone would like to help set up the altars for English speakers, please see John LeBlanc or Jennie Martell.
Country Time Show: Next Sunday (June 22nd), at 7:00pm will be the last show before the summer break. Our Fall season will start on Sunday, September 21st. Admission is only $6. Come and enjoy show with your friends!

Rhubarb & Strawberries: If anyone has any rhubarb that they are willing to donate, John LeBlanc will pick it up from from you. The rhubarb will be used for making jam for our Fall Fundraiser. Also, if you have any strawberry (u-pick) containers to loan or donate, please see John or call him at 469-4366.

Spring Draw Tickets: There is only one week left to get your tickets! $2 each or 3 for $5. A book of 10 tickets sell for $15. See Gordon Jewers after Mass to get your tickets and see the list of prizes. The draw will take place at the Country Time Show on NEXT Sunday, June 22nd.

Franciscans of Halifax: The Community is facilitating three theology courses throughout the summer season. If anyone is interested, please see Br. Nathanael or pick up a copy of the program on the table near the entrance.
