Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

2015 Archbishop’s Appeal: October 25th and November 22
In our parishes, October 25th and November 22nd are our target collection dates for this year’s Archbishop’s Appeal. You can donate through regular Sunday collections or online through the Archdiocesan website at www.halifaxyarmouth.org

Last Sunday Collections:
St. Anthony’s – Regular $1,430; Loose $122.50; Renovations $20; Flea Market $50; Rosary Rally Donation $100 Pickles & Jam Fundraiser $140
St. Faustina’s – Regular $340; Loose $25


Classic Country Show: The next show will be this Sunday, October 18th at 7:00pm. Admission is $7.Hosted by Beverley Cheverie – with house band Grover Country featuring: Matt Balsor, Ruth Manning, Jim Tynes and Brooklyn Blackmore. There will be a 50/50 draw and door prizes. Also a draw for ‘Best Seat in the House’. Come out for a night of fun!

Jean Vanier Gospel of John: Please join us for the continued DVD Series (Session 11 ~ Jesus Lowers Himself) this Tuesday, October 20th at 7:00pm.

Catechism: It’s not to late to join us ~ next Saturday, October 24th at 3:00pm in the boardroom. See Joanne Nelson or simply show up.

Fall Fair & Flea Market: Our annual fall fair market will be held on the weekend of November 7th & 8th in the church hall beginning at 8:30am Saturday. A chilli dinner with roll, tea or coffee, and desert for $8 will be served on Saturday. Homemade pickles & jam will also be for sale. We are still taking donations of flea market items. Also, if you are able to help set up before the flea market, please see Gordon Jewers or call him at 902.469.5698.

Flea Market Set-up: If you are able to help set up for the flea market, we will be in the hall on Thursday, November 5th at 1:30pm. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Please let Gordon know if can be there!

Annual Draw: Tickets for our annual draw will be sold beginning in November. If you can help sell tickets, please see Gordon Jewers.

St. Vincent de Paul: Item of the month for October is Kraft Dinner.
