The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

2015 Archbishop’s Appeal:
This Sunday, October 25th and November 22 are the collection dates for this year’s Archbishop’s Appeal. You can donate through regular Sunday collections or online through the Archdiocesan website at www.halifaxyarmouth.org.
Sunday, October 25
th: All are welcome to come to Gate of Heaven Cemetery to celebrate the blessing and dedication of a new Columbarium on Sunday, October 25 at 1:00pm. This project was developed by the Catholic Cemeteries of Halifax for the Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth, to meet the needs of Catholic families today and into the future. Gate of Heaven Cemetery opened in 1938 and covers 31 acres. It is the resting place of many notable persons, including Nova Scotia Premier Angus L. MacDonald, Archbishop Gerald Berry, and Archbishop Austin Burke. Many of the priests of the Archdiocese of Halifax are buried at Gate of Heaven.
Ordination to the Diaconate of Brother Paul MacIntosh, FoH: Archbishop Mancini is pleased to announce that he will ordain Bro. Paul MacIntosh, FoH, as a transitional deacon on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:00am at Saint Catherine Siena Church, 6476 Bayers Rd, Halifax. All are welcomed.

Country Time Show: Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy and support the show last Sunday. We raised $952.50 for our parish. The next show will be on Sunday, November 15th.

Jean Vanier Gospel of John: A number of people were unable to join us last Tuesday, so the DVD series was cancelled. Please join us for the continued series (Session 11 ~ Jesus Lowers Himself) this Tuesday, October 27th at 7:00pm.

Catechism: It’s not to late to join us ~ on Saturday, November 7th at 3:00pm in the boardroom. See Joanne Nelson or simply show up.

Flea Market Set-up: If you are able to help set up for the flea market, we will be in the hall on Thursday, November 5th at 1:30pm. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Please let Gordon know if can be there!

Annual Draw: Tickets for our annual draw will be sold beginning in November. If you can help sell tickets, please see Gordon Jewers.
