Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Classic Country Time Show: This Sunday, December 20th at 7:00pm. Admission is $7. This month’s entertainers are Nashville Recording Artists Jason Price, Makayla Lynn, Casey May, as well as their family members. Please join us for a night of fun and live entertainment.

2016 Church Envelopes: Are now available for you to pick up, near the main entrance. Anyone who is not registered with the parish and would like a box of 2016 envelopes, please see Br. Nathanael or drop your name, phone number and address in the collection basket and we will ensure you receive a box.

Catechism: Will resume on Saturday, January 9th at 3:00pm in the church.

Outreach Program ~ Christmas Dinner: Thank you to everyone who helped prepare and donated towards the Outreach Program - Christmas dinner. Your generosity and support is greatly appreciated.

St. Vincent de Paul: Item of the month for December is spaghetti sauce.

Recyclables: Please drop off your recyclables – before or after Mass. You can also drop them at Rupert Lewis’ house at anytime - 10 Lahey Road – 902. 466.6788.

Confessions in the Year of Mercy: Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Franciscans of Halifax Priests will be available to hear Confessions at St. Catherine’s Church, 6476 Bayers Rd. Halifax. Everyone is welcome to celebrate this Sacrament between 5:00pm- 8:00pm each Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
