Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Archdiocese Information:

Sharing the Care:This weekend, we will have our Sharing the Care collection. Your contribution will make it possible for these priests to live their lives with the care and assistance they merit. Please support these dedicated priests who worked hard to care for their parishioners in our diocese for many years.

 

Way of the Cross: We will have Way of the Cross every Thursday (except March 12th) during Lent starting at 6:30pm followed by Adoration until 8:00pm.

 

Prayer Community: This Tuesday, March 3rd at 7:00pm in the boardroom. Everyone is welcome to join us.

Rosary Group: Please switch to the next Mystery this Sunday, March 1st.

Country Time Show: Again, last Sunday’s show was cancelled due to icy conditions and rescheduled for both Sundays, March 15th and 22nd 7:00pm ~ admission is $6. See you then!

Income Tax Receipts: The income tax receipts that were not picked up, were mailed out. You should receive them soon.

St. Vincent de Paul Society: Item of the month for March is peanut butter. The donation box is located near the entrance of the church. Thank you!

Recylables: Please continue to drop off your recyclables before or after Mass. All proceeds go towards our Outreach Program. Please see Rupert Lewis (902.466.6788) or for monetary donations, please see Joanne Nelson (902.464.1981). Thanks!
