Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Country Time Show: (Weather Permitting) This Sunday, March 22 at 7:00pm. Admission is $6. Master of Ceremonies is Al Hollingsworth with back-up band Grover Country, featuring: Florence Axford, Hayden Stover, Charlie Bourque, Ronnie Masters, Wayne MacKellar and Cecil MacDougall. There will be another show next Sunday, March 29th at 7:00pm. Prayer Community: Will be this Tuesday, March 24th at 7:00pm in the boardroom.

Way of the Cross: Thursdays during Lent at 6:30pm followed by Adoration until 8:00pm.

Eucharistic Ministers: We are looking for more Eucharistic Ministers to bring Communion to patients at Dartmouth General Hospital. If you are interested, see Br. Nathanael.

Easter Flowers: If anyone would like donate towards Easter flowers, please drop a separate envelope in the collection basket with your name, envelope # and amount, so you will be credited on your income tax receipts.

Easter Bazaar: Maria Dabczak will be selling cakes and Easter items after both the Masses (Palm Sunday) on March 28th & 29th. Please feel free to purchase some goodies!

Flea Market: We will be having our next flea market on May 30th and 31st. If you are doing your spring cleaning and have any good used (or new) items you no longer need, please call Gordon at 902.469.5698.

Franciscans of Halifax Event Postponed: The Way of the Cross through Taize Prayer and Song will now be held on Good Friday, April 3rd, 2015 at 7:00pm at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 6476 Bayers Road, Halifax.
