St. Anthony's Church

St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church & St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission

Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

We also have our hall available to rent. Please contact the office for further information.

Archdiocesan Information: Share the Mission: Special Collection June 6-7

In the Church when we speak of missionary work people often think this requires going to a foreign country to proclaim Christ. While this is part of our mission to spread the Good News of Christ’s birth, death and resurrection, it is only part of the story. We are all missionaries and the mission field is right here, right now!

On the weekend of June 6 and 7 we are inviting you to take part in the annual diocesan collection, Share the Mission.

We are called to help each other as communities to become missionary disciples! We do this by supporting one another on all levels: in our actions, through our prayers, and in our financial giving.

This special collection supports missionary action on both a diocesan and parish level. Twenty percent of the total donations raised by your parish will be returned to the parish to be used for missionary work at the local level.
