Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

First Communion & Baptisms:We congratulate Jeanne Paola Laureta, Meena Navairo, Romelle Navairo and Faith Lombard on receiving the Sacrament of First Communion.
We also congratulate Choreena Navarro on receiving the Sacrament of Baptism and entering into the mystical Body of Christ – the Church.

Thank You: To Joanne Nelson for preparing our youth who received the Sacrament of First Communion last Saturday.

Parish Council: There will be a Parish Council meeting on Wednesday, June 17th at 7:00pm in the hall.

Country Time Show: The next show will be Sunday, June 28th at 7:00pm. Admission is $6. Master of Ceremonies is Al Hollingsworth with Back-up Band Grover Country featuring: Vic Ivany, Frank Grandy, Billy Bob Phillips, Jim Francis, Ron & Amy Verge.

Polish Festival: We will be having the Polish Festival this year on September 12 & 13. If you would like to make a monetary donation towards items needed for the festival, please use the envelope that is in your box of yearly envelopes, or put your envelope #, amount, name and address on a blank envelope and place in the Sunday collection basket. Thank you for your donations.

Volunteers Needed: We are looking for volunteers (to take one month at a time) to help with lawn care ~ mowing, raking, and the gardens. Please see Br. Nathanael or John LeBlanc if you are able to help. If anyone has a gas whipper snipper that they no longer use, it would be a great gift to the parish.

St. Vincent de Paul: Item of the month for June is canned meat or fish.
