Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Catechism: For anyone who would like to register your child this Fall for Catechism, please see Joanne Nelson or phone her at 902.464.1981.

St. Anthony’s Fall Fair: Will be held October 29th & 30th. Along with our flea market and chili or corn chowder dinner, we will have a bake sale. If you can volunteer to help, please call Gordon Jewers at 902.469.5698. Don’t forget about our Flea Market when you are cleaning your house and would like to donate items to help raise funds for our parish.

St. Vincent de Paul: Item of the month for September is Kraft Dinner.

St. Anthony’s Spiritual Library: Remember our spiritual library is yours to use and will help increase our devotion to the Lord. It is open after weekend Masses in the boardroom. You can now sign out a book or DVD after each Mass.

DVD Series: Starting on October 25th until Dec 6th from 6:30pm-8:00pm we are starting our annual DVD video series. This year features Bishop Robert Barron’s newest collection Catholicism: Pivotal Players. Learn about the lives of six different influential Catholics from our rich tradition. We will gather for coffee and then a video followed by small group discussion.
