St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church & St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission

Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Country Time Show: Proceeds from the last show were $511. Thank you for your support this year. A special thank you to Bev Cheverie and her team. The next show will be in September.

St. Anthony’s Spiritual Library: Our spiritual library is now up and running in the boardroom in the church. You can now sign out a book or DVD after each Mass on the weekends.

Farewell to the Jesuits: There will be a Mass of thanksgiving this Tuesday, June 28th, celebrated by Archbishop Anthony Mancini, Saint Mary’s Cathedral Basilica at 7:00pm. All are welcome to attend to give thanks to God for the Jesuits’ 76 years of service to the Church in Halifax.

Spiritual Exercises: If anyone is interested in attending the Franciscans of Halifax Spiritual Exercises, to be held the week of July 18-22, please see the details on the bulletin boards at the entrances of the church, or speak to Br. Nathanael.
