Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

DVD Series: Tuesday, January 31st at 6:30pm featuring Bl. John Henry Newman – The Convert: Is there any truth in matters of religion? Should the Church simply retreat in the face of the challenges of culture? John Henry Newman came into the Church as a convert and used his prodigious intellectual gifts to help the Church better understand its identity and mission and engage the challenges of a secular age.

Pastoral Council: This Tuesday, January 24th at 6:30pm.

Catechism: Next Saturday, January 28th at 3:00pm.

Classic Country Show: Thank you to everyone who came to the last show. Our proceeds were $368.50 towards our Capital Campaign. The next show is Sunday, February 19th at 7:00pm. We hope to see you there!

St. Anthony’s Spiritual Library: Remember our spiritual library is yours to use and will help increase our devotion to the Lord. It is open after weekend Masses in the boardroom. You can now sign out a book or DVD after each weekend Mass.

Recyclables: Please drop off your recyclables before or after Mass. You can also drop them off anytime at Rupert Lewis’ house, 10 Lahey Road, or call him at 902. 466.6788.

2017 Church Envelopes: If you haven’t already picked up your box of 2017 envelopes, you can find them in the Sacristy. If you do not currently have envelopes and would like a box, please drop the following information in the collection basket ~ name, address and phone number; or see Br. Nathanael.
