Feast of St. Francis The Franciscans of Halifax…: We invite you to join us this Wednesday, October 4th at 7:00pm for the Feast of Saint Francis which will be held at Saint Catherine of Siena Parish on Bayers Road in Halifax. This year Sr Elizabeth will profess her perpetual vows during this mass. We invite everyone to come and celebrate our patron saint as well as the commitment of our sister.
Public Square Rosary Crusade ~ Our Lady of Fatima: Come and join in our Rosary Rally in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Fatima Centennial (1917-2017) on Saturday, October 14th at 12:00pm ~ Keating Place parking lot, 190 Victoria Road. There will be short video followed by a reception in St. Anthony’s Parish Hall after the rosary. This rosary rally is coordinated nationally by Canadian Society for the Defence of Christian Civilization and its Canada Needs Our Lady campaign.
Pickles Fundraiser: Thank you for your generous donations towards our fundraiser. Volunteers are needed to help prepare the pickles. If you are available on Tuesday, October 10th & Wednesday, October 11th at 1:00pm, we will be meeting in the hall with our special guests and organizers, John & Darlene LeBlanc. We hope you can make it! Please bring your special paring knife and cutting board. Thank you for helping!
St. Anthony’s & St. Faustina’s Prayer Intention Book: There is a book in the church near the main entrance for anyone to write in their special intentions so we may offer them all collectively during our Prayers of the Faithful.
Country Classic Show: The next show will be Sunday, October 15th at 7:00pm.
Catechism: It is important to encourage each other in faith. If you have children or grand-children, please consider enrolling them in our Catechism program. To register, please speak to Br. Nathanael.
Fall Flea Market: We are collecting items for our upcoming Flea Market on October 28th & 29th. If you have new or used items, please see Gordon Jewers after Mass to arrange a drop off time. Thank you for your contributions.
