Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Public Square Rosary Crusade ~ Our Lady of Fatima: Thank you to everyone who came out for the Rosary and fraternal gathering. May our Blessed Mother reward our devotion to her Immaculate Heart and comfort us.

Pickles Fundraiser: Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time in helping with our fundraiser. It was a great turn-out and community effort. If you would like to purchase a jar of mustard pickles, chow, or beets, see Rupert Lewis in the boardroom after the weekend Masses ~ $5 per jar.

Feast of John Paul II: Everyone is invited for a meal after the 1:00pm Mass in Polish on Sunday, October 22nd. Each plate is $8 which includes, cabbage rolls, and coffee/tea. Dessert is $2.

Fall Flea Market: We will have a bake table at the flea market, so if you are able to donate baked goods, we would appreciate it. Please remember if you are doing a fall clean-up, we are still collecting items for the market on October 28th & 29th. See Gordon Jewers if you would like to contribute.

St. Anthony’s & St. Faustina’s Prayer Intention Book: There is a book in the church near the main entrance for anyone to write in their special intentions.This way, we may offer them all collectively during our Prayers of the Faithful.

2018 St. Joseph’s Missals: Are available in the Sacristy for $5 each.

St. Vincent de Paul: Item of the month is a box of cereal.

A Touch of Classical Concert: On Saturday, October 28th, 7:00pm at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 6476 Bayers Road, Halifax, the Franciscans of Halifax are hosting a concert of classical music, featuring local musicians. Proceeds of this concert go toward further education for the Franciscan brothers and sisters. Reserve seats online at or by calling Sr. Edith at 902-717-2012. Payment can be made online or by cash at the door, $20 per person.

Country Classic Show: This Sunday, October 15th at 7:00pm. Admission is $7. Special entertainers are Blain Henshaw (NSCMHF Inductee), Frank Grandy, and 10 year old Lucas Whitehead ~ backup band Sidewinder Plus.
