Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

DVD Series: We will be starting a new DVD 6-part series ‘Catching Fire ~ Becoming Flame’ ~ A guide for Spiritual Transformation with Fr. Albert Haase, OFM. We will begin on Tuesday, November 7th at 6:30pm in the hall and continue on the following dates: Tuesdays, November 14th, 21st, 28th, December 5th & 12th.

Classic Country Show: The next show is Sunday, November 19th at 7:00pm.

Pastoral Council: The next meeting is Tuesday, November 21st at 6:00pm.

St. Anthony’s & St. Faustina’s Prayer Intention Book: There is a book in the church front foyer main entrance, next to the statue of St. Anthony, for anyone to write in their special intentions. This way, we may offer them all collectively during our Prayers of the Faithful.

2018 St. Joseph’s Missals: Are available in the Sacristy for $5 each.

St. Vincent de Paul: Item of the month is a box of cereal.

VON Volunteer Visiting: We need your help! VON is searching for 10 new volunteers to help fill a need in Dartmouth. We have a waiting list of senior clients living in the community that are socially isolated and seeking a volunteer to visit with them once each week. The time commitment is 1-2 hours each week and would truly make a positive impact in the life of a senior. If you are interested and could help with this need in your community please contact VON today!  (902) 455-6655.

Fall Flea Market: Continues after Mass this Saturday, October 28th from 5:00pm – 6:00pm & Sunday, October 29th from 10:00am – 3:00pm. There will be new and used items for everyone, a bake sale, and pickles, chow, and beets. Chili or corn chowder with desert and tea/coffee will be served for $8 on Saturday from 5:00pm-6:00pm.

A Touch of Classical Concert: Tonight ~ Saturday, October 28th, 7:00pm at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 6476 Bayers Road, Halifax, the Franciscans of Halifax are hosting a concert of classical music, featuring local musicians. Proceeds of this concert go toward further education for the Franciscan brothers and sisters. Reserve seats online at www.franciscansofhalifax.com or by calling Sr. Edith at 902-717-2012. Payment can be made online or by cash at the door, $20 per person.
