Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

DVD Series: This Tuesday, February 21st at 6:30pm (full video) featuring G.K. Chesterton – The Evangelist: How does one engage a culture that is befuddled by Christ and suspicious of the Church? The life and witness of this nineteenth century literary convert shows that the fundamental disposition of effective evangelization is joy, and life in Christ is a day-to-day encounter with an abundant and surprising offer of grace.

Pastoral Council: The next meeting is Tuesday, February 28th at 6:30pm.

Ash Wednesday: Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 1st at 7:00pm.

World Day of Prayer 2017 Am I Being Unfair to You?’ Philippines Country & Culture: World Day of Prayer is a worldwide movement of Christian women of many traditions who come together on the first Friday of March each year to observe a common day of prayer. Through World Day of Prayer, we affirm our faith in Jesus Christ and engage with the whole world, are enriched by the faith experience of Christians of other countries and cultures, share the burdens of other people by praying with and for them. If you would like to take part or help out, please see Jennie Martell or Helen MacCormac. We will join our neighbours in celebrating World Day of Prayer here at St. Anthony’s Parish on Friday, March 3rd at 7:00pm

Classic Country Show: This Sunday, February 19th 7:00pm ~ Admission is $7. This month’s entertainers are Sidewinder (Plus) featuring: Andrew Kent, Bob MacDonald, Carl James, Bill Guest and Hayden Stover. Special guests are Jim Tynes and NSCMHF Inductee Brent Williams. We will have a 50/50 draw, a door prize and lots of great entertainment.
