Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Veritas is on the Move: As of April 3rd, please visit us at our new location at Rockingham Ridge Plaza (Farnham Gate & Dunbrack Street), Halifax. There is a moving sale of up to 60% off items until the end of March at our Barringston Street location only.

Franciscans of Halifax: We are having a Lenten Prayer & Choral Service on Friday,April 7th ~ 7:00pm at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Halifax. We welcome you to join us and prepare our way for the Easter Triduum celebration.

Flea Market: Our Spring Flea Market is on Saturday, April 29th and Sunday, April 30th. Please consider donating to our fundraiser when you are cleaning your home or garage. If you would like to help out with the flea market or donate items, contact Gordon Jewers (902.469.5698).

St. Anthony’s Spiritual Library: There are new books available so please take advantage of our spiritual library, as it is yours to use. Spiritual reading is a great way to enter Lent. The library is open after weekend Masses in the boardroom.

St. Vincent de Paul: Item of the month is jam.

Classic Country Show: This Sunday, March 19th at 7:00pm. Admission is $7. Featuring Sidewinder Plus and this month’s special entertainers are Matt Balsor, June & Fulton Bayer, and Mel MacLeod. 50/50 Draw, door prizes and lots more! We hope to see you there!

During Lent, before Adoration on Thursday evenings, we will have Way of the Cross starting at 6:30pm.  Please join us for our Lenten devotion.
