The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

Catechism: Next Saturday, June 17th at 3:00pm will be the last class of the season. Our First Communion celebration will be at the 4:00pm Mass. Raine Alexander Mantolino and Cassandra Jolie (CJ) Manuel will be making their First Communion. Please keep them in your prayers as they receive this important Sacrament.

Pastoral Council: The next meeting is Tuesday, June 20th at 6:30pm.

Corpus Christi: Next weekend we celebrate The Feast of Corpus Christi. All are welcome to join in our Eucharistic procession at the 1:00pm Mass in Polish, Sunday, June 18th.

The Franciscans of Halifax invite you to their Spiritual Exercises on July 24th – July 28th. The topic will be The Beatitudes: Fulfillment of Our humanity and of our joy (Matthew 5:1-12). Our preacher is Fr. Emaneule Rimoli, OFM, a professor of Christian Anthropology and Eschatology in Rome at the St. Bonaventure-Seraphicum. Registration fee is $65 which includes a light lunch daily. He will also be presenting 4 free lectures on the Liturgy: A model of prayer and Icon of the new life in Christ. Please consider taking this great opportunity to deepen your faith.

Classic Country Show: The next show will be Sunday, June 18th at 7:00pm with band Sinewinder (Plus) special guests: Tiah Taylor, Darrin Lively and Countryside Fiddlers. There are two door prizes every month and we will have a 50/50 draw which splits at $150 for 2 winners of $75. We sell coffee, tea, pop, hotdogs, bars and more!

Please join us for Mass on the Feast of St. Anthony this Tuesday, June 13th at 7:00pm with Veneration of First Class Relic of St. Anthony and Blessing of the Bread for the poor. There will be a reception in the hall after Mass. A collection will be taken for the Outreach Program ~ to help those in need.
