Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Pickles & Jam Fundraiser: Thank you for your donations of 500ml mason jars. This week you will notice an envelope with a picture of a pickle on it stapled to the bulletin. If you are able to donate monetarily to help with purchasing ingredients, please use the envelopes provided. Mark your full name and your Envelope # to receive credit for your income tax receipts in February.

Vigil Candles: Lighting candles is a great devotion. You will notice that we have several new globes depicting the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Immaculate Heart of Mary and several saints. Our donations from the summer months were: July ~ $226.55 and August ~ $145.

St. Anthony’s Outreach Program: We have received a donation of $1,000 from the Ferguson family. They organized a slo-pitch tournament in memory of Gary Ferguson. This year, Gary’s widow, Lynn, donated the proceeds to St. Anthony’s Outreach Program. Each year the proceeds are donated to a local charity in Gary’s name. We are grateful to the Ferguson family for this generous gift.

Catechism: It is important to encourage each other in faith. If you have children or grand-children , please consider enrolling them in our Catechism program. To register, please speak to Br. Nathanael.

Fall Flea Market: We are starting to collect items for our upcoming Flea Market on October 28th & 29th. If you have new or used items, please see Gordon Jewers after Mass to arrange a drop off time. Thank you for your contributions.

St. Vincent de Paul: Item of the month is Kraft Dinner.
