Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

2018 Church Envelopes: If you haven’t already picked up your box of 2018 envelopes, you can find them on the table near the main entrance. If you do not currently have envelopes and would like a box, please drop the following information in the collection basket ~ name, address and phone number; or see Br. Nathanael.

2017 Tax Receipts: are on the table at the back of the Church.

Country Classic Show: The next show will be Sunday, February 18th, 2018 at 7:00pm. Admission is $7 per person. We hope to see you then!

Pastoral Council Meeting: Tuesday, February 20th at 6:30pm.

St. Anthony’s Spiritual Library: Remember our spiritual library is yours to use and will help increase our devotion to the Lord. It is open after weekend Masses in the boardroom. You can sign out a book or DVD after each weekend Mass.

Recyclables: Please drop off your recyclables before or after Mass. You can also drop them off anytime at Rupert Lewis’ house, 10 Lahey Road, or call him at 902. 466.6788.

2018 St. Joseph’s Missals: Available in the Sacristy for $5 each.

Lenten Journey Invitation

 

Into the Heart of God: The Gospel of John in the Holy Land Sessions begin Monday, February 12th at 7:00pm St. Paul’s Church Hall, 199 Windmill Road A 14 part video series led by Jean Vanier who retraces the actual steps through the Holy Land of the events and accounts of the Gospel of John. Vanier defines John’s Gospel as the gospel of relationship and transformation, explaining how we are gradually transformed to enter into the fullness of God’s love. All are welcome – bring a friend!
