Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Palm Sunday ~ Polish Dinner: March 25th at 2:15pm in the hall. You and your friends are cordially invited to a traditional polish luncheon $10 per person (coffee/tea and cake included). All proceeds go towards our parish.

Lenten Holy Hour Series: The Franciscan choir is hosting a series of Holy Hours every Tuesday during Lent at Saint Catherine of Siena Parish from 7:00-8:00pm. This includes an hour of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, sung vespers and other sacred songs.

Way of the Cross: Thursday evenings starting at 6:30pm followed by Adoration until 8:00pm.

Lenten Journey Invitation: A 14 part video series Into the Heart of God:The Gospel of John in the Holy Land each Monday during Lent ~ 6:30pm at St. Paul’s Church Hall. Please note the time change. Everyone is welcome!

Bible Study: You are invited to a weekly Bible Study Series during Lent every Tuesday at 7:00pm in the Board Room of St. Theresa’s Rectory. This guided study through Exodus will be led by Robert Elford. To register, please email halifaxcommunitychaplain@gmail.com.

2018 Church Envelopes: If you haven’t picked up your box of 2018 envelopes, please go to the Sacristy (see Br. Nathanael) where the remainder boxes are kept. If you do not currently have envelopes and would like a box, please drop the following information in the collection basket ~ name, address and phone number; or see Br. Nathanael.

Country Classic Show: Sunday, March 18th at 7:00pm. Admission is $7.

Pastoral Council: The next meeting is Tuesday, March 20th at 6:30pm.

St. Vincent de Paul: Item of the month for February is peanut butter and jam.
