Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Pastoral Council: This Tuesday, May 15th at 6:30pm.

Pastoral Council Nominees: To nominate someone to be on the Pastoral Council, fill out the forms on the tables near both entrances of the church. Please place them in the collection basket during Mass.

Flea Market: Thank you to everyone who came out to support our parish and to help set-up, work the event and help prepare and serve the food. Proceeds were $2,300 including $685.75 received from the meal served.

Pentecost Vigil of Prayer: Archbishop Mancini will be hosting an evening of prayer and praise this Friday, May 18, 2018 beginning at 7:00pm at St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica. This vigil is specifically to pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the entire Catholic Church, particularly seeking the grace of unity for the universal, national, and local church. All priests, deacons, and lay faithful are invited.

Assistance for Saint John Flood Relief: Archbishop Anthony Mancini invites the parishes of Halifax-Yarmouth to donate a special collection to aid and support the people impacted by the recent flooding of the Saint John River.  It’s important to work together and support our neighbours in times of need.   Please mail and make your cheque payable to: Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth, 1531 Grafton Street Halifax, B3J 2B9 ~ noting at the left bottom of the cheque ‘Saint John River Flooding’.

Parish Fundraiser: Please advertise on Facebook for us! The more we advertise, the better the turn-out will be. Each person registered will pay $120 and our parish will receive $90 from each registration. Below is what should be placed on Facebook: Defensive Driving Course Next Saturday, May 19, 2018. Start time 9:30 am. Remove the "N" from your license - Reduce your points - up to 4. Satisfy the "letter" from the RMV.
