St. Anthony's Church

St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church & St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission

Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

We also have our hall available to rent. Please contact the office for further information.

For information on events, please see our calendar.

Mark Your Calendar!: Corpus Christi Sunday is June 3rd. All are welcome to join our Polish community of St. Faustina’s, for Mass at 1:00pm with Eucharistic procession around the church, following the Mass. There will be a reception of coffee/tea and Polish desserts to follow.

Pastoral Council Nominees: Last chance to nominate someone to be on the Pastoral Council, fill out the forms on the tables near both entrances of the church. Please place them in the collection basket during Mass. This is a great way of serving and being actively involved in our parish.

Feast of St. Anthony: Mark your calendar ~ Wednesday, June 13th, 7:00pm Mass. Everyone is encouraged to celebrate and give thanks to our Patron Saint Anthony of Padua. He has given us many blessings and favors from his intercession. We will venerate his first class relic and bless the bread which represents our constant charity to those who are poor. St. Anthony served and loved those in the greatest need on earth, leaving us this great example of recognizing Christ in our brothers and sisters who suffer in poverty.

Thank You: For all of your support in our fundraising endeavours for the dishwasher and the repairs to the cement for both entrances of the church. I am very grateful for your generosity.
