St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church & St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission

Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Financial Statements: In the clear boxes where the bulletins are kept, you will find St. Anthony’s Parish & St. Faustina’s Polish Mission Financial Statement for 2017. If you have any questions, please direct them to Linda Young or Marie Hilchey.

This Coming Fall: We will be starting a Padré Pio prayer group which will include Rosary, Mass and Adoration one night a month. More details will follow as we get closer to September. Also, we are looking to purchase Bishop Robert Barron’s DVD set (series of 6 talks) on the Mass. We will start our regular DVD series evenings in October and Novembr.

 

St. Anthony’s Spiritual Library: Remember our spiritual library is yours to use and will help increase our devotion to the Lord. It is open after weekend Masses in the boardroom. You can sign out a book or DVD after each weekend Mass.

St. Vincent de Paul: Item of the month is canned milk.

Recyclables: Please drop off your recyclables before or after Mass. You can also drop them off anytime at Rupert Lewis’ house, 10 Lahey Road, or call him at 902. 466.6788. Thank you for your donations.

 

The Franciscans of Halifax present the Spiritual Exercises 2018: Led by Fr.
