Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Christmas Office Hours: The office will be closed from Friday, December 23th until Tuesday, January 3rd.


Envelopes: Please be advised that we have not yet received the 2012 boxed envelopes. They will be arriving soon. We apologize for the incovenience.


Updating Our Database: Thank you to those of you who have filled out the information forms. The information request sheets are at the entrance of the church. This is to help us have accurate member information on our parishioners, such as birthdate, anniversary, email addresses, etc. Please take it home or fill out after Mass, fold it and drop it in the collection basket at Mass. This information is for our database only. Thank you for your cooperation.


Country Time Show: The next Country Time Show will be Sunday, January 15th at 7:00pm. Admission $6. This is a great night out with lots of entertainment for a very small fee. Come out and support your church! Proceeds were $434.45 from our last show.


Raffle: The winners of our recent church repair raffle were: 1. Quilt – Bill Horne;

2. Watch – Gladys Yammine; Vegetable Steamer – Jenna Clarke. We would like to thank everyone who supported us. The total amount realized from the sale of tickets was $1,915.03 and one Belgian Franc. 


Thank you!: To Gordon and Shayne Jewers and his awesome sales skills for selling an incredible amount of tickets and putting in so much effort.


New Years Eve Dance: A dinner and dance will be held in the church hall on New Year’s Eve starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door. For information or to book your tickets, contact Gordon Jewers at 469-5698.


Eucharistic Ministers: This Christmas Eve we are commissioning the new Eucharistic Ministers: Peter Dean, Phil Vernham, Roberta Leadley and Carol Holland. We welcome you and thank you for taking part in this important ministry.
