The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

Advent Reconciliation: The next service for Reconciliation before Christmas for our Dartmouth district area will be Wednesday, December 14th at 7:00pm at St. Peter’s Parish.


Choir Practice: this Monday night starting between 6:30-7:00pm. This is a practice specifically for Christmas Eve Mass. Everyone is welcome. Call Jennie Martell at 464-1561 for more information.


Christmas Flowers: If you wish to donate towards our Christmas flower fund, please take a blank envelope from the table near the entrance of the church and write on it ‘flowers’ along with your name and amount and drop it in the weekend collection. Thank you for your kind donations.


Updating Our Database: The information request sheets are at the entrance of the church. This is to help us have accurate member information on our parishioners, such as birthdate, anniversary, email addresses, etc. Please take it home or fill out after Mass, fold it and drop it in the collection basket at Mass. This information is for our database only. Thank you for your cooperation.


Christ the King Prayer Campaign: Concludes this weekend. We wish to thank all who participated by taking cards home and praying for their loved ones. If you wish to order further cards, please visit or phone 1-800-776-6855 ext. 102.


Country Time Show: The next Country Time Show will be Sunday, December 18th at 7:00pm. Admission $6.


Lectors & Eucharistic Ministers: We are in need of more Lectors and Eucharistic Minister. Please call Jennie Martell at 464-1561 if you are interested.


Raffle Tickets: Prizes include a quilt, an automatic vegetable steamer and rice cooker, and a pocket watch with chain - $2 each or 3 for $5. The draw will take place at the Country Time Show on Sunday, December 18th. Please call Gordon Jewers at 469-5698. All proceeds go towards our roof fund.


New Year’s Eve Dance: A dinner and dance will be held in the church hall on New Year’s Eve starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door. For information or to book your tickets, contact Gordon Jewers at 469-5698.


Advent Backpack Project: Everyone is welcome to help sort and fill the gift bags at St. Peter’s School Gym at 1:00pm next Saturday, December 17th. This is a family-friendly event with work available for all ages. Please consider coming out to help us as many hands make light work. Thank you for your support!
