St. Anthony's Church

St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church & St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission

Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

We also have our hall available to rent. Please contact the office for further information.

For information on events, please see our calendar.

Bulletin: Christ The King

Jesus is to be King and Ruler of our lives and hearts.

Today’s Solemnity of Christ the King honors Christ as King of the Universe and Lord of all creation. As such, today’s readings testify to His kingship and that He will one day return in glory. This solemnity also invites us to open our hearts to Christ so He can reign more fully as the King and Ruler of our lives and hearts.

Year of Faith to be inaugurated the 1st Sunday of Advent, 2012.

The Goal of the Year of Faith in the Archdiocese of Halifax-Yarmouth is to encourage and promote a lifelong process of discipleship that finds its source and summit in the Eucharist. During this year, our mission will be to bring this gift to the world. In committing ourselves to authentic discipleship, beginning with our encounter of Christ in the sacraments, we become as persons and as an assembly of believers, ‘the credible witness of people enlightened in mind and heart by the word of the Lord.’ (Porta Fides) You can check out Catecheses of the Holy Father during the Year of Faith at
