Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Thank you: Father Jan thanks everyone for the Christmas cards and gifts he received during Christmas. Thank you for your kindness!

Adoration: The first Friday of the month, January 4th, we will have Adoration from 3:00pm-6:00pm with Mass in Polish at 6:30pm. There is a sign-up sheet at the main entrance starting from 4:00pm for anyone wishing to help us to have someone in the church at all times.

Church Lottery: The draw for the prizes in our church lottery took place at the Country Time Show on December 16th. The winners were: First Prize: Shirley Boudreau; Second Prize: Isaac Peneira; Third Prize: Tom Boutilier. Congratulations to the winners!

Thank you: To Gordon Jewers who worked long hours selling the tickets for the past few months for our church lottery draw! Thank you to everyone who helped support our parish with this fundraiser. The lottery brought in a profit of $1,702!

Country Time Show: Thank you to all of the entertainers and everyone who came to last Country Time Show. Proceeds for our parish were $562.

New Year’s Eve Dinner & Dance: Come out and enjoy New Year’s Eve with us! Only a few days left to get your tickets! Ticket cost is $25 per person. Please see Gordon Jewers after Mass or contact him at 469-5698. Have a great night ringing in the New Year.
