St. Anthony's Church

St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church & St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission

Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

We also have our hall available to rent. Please contact the office for further information.

For information on events, please see our calendar.

Bulletin: 6th Sunday in Easter

There are Angels God Puts on Earth...

Who care for us and guide us.  You can feel their love and gentleness as they walk through life beside us.
They do great things for us every day... they whisper in our ears, they even hold us in Their hearts when we are filled with all our fears.

They are always there to give a hug and to try to make us smile.

They treat us with respect and love, they treat us like their child.

God blessed me with an Angel, I’m proud to call my own.  She’s been with me Throughout my life, been with me as I’ve grown.

She’s guided me the best she can,She’s taught me like no other,And I’m thankful I’m the lucky one who get’s to call her...

Happy Mother's Day from Father Jan!

Father Jan’s Ordination to the Priesthood took place 23 years ago on May 13th.  He professed his solemn vows at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Trzebinia, Poland.

When a Priest celebrates his Ordination anniversary, it is actually not about him.  It’s about the Priesthood which he is a model.  It’s about Christ whom he exemplifies.  It’s about the wonderful work of a Priest, and the way he touches the lives of so many.

Let us keep Father Jan in our prayers and ask God to watch over him, guiding him along his spiritual and apastolic path.  Our Lady of Fatima, pray for him!
