Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Priestly Ordinations: Congratulations to Brs. James and Christopher of the Franciscans of Halifax on the Priestly Ordinations which took place this Saturday, December 14th at 11:00am at St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica. Please keep Fr. James and Fr. Christopher in your prayers!

Advent Reconciliation Services: This Wednesday, December 18th at 7:00pm – St. Vincent de Paul Parish.

Thank You: To Theresa and Doug Lewis for organizing the potluck to raise funds for the Archdiocesan Annual Appeal. Also thank you to everyone who came out to support this fundraiser! The total collection of all money received from individual parishioners and from the potluck fundraiser will be in the bulletin in the new year.

New Year’s Eve Dinner & Dance: Hot supper and great music and glass of champagne! Tuesday, December 31st at 8:00pm. $25 per person ~ see Gordon Jewers for tickets or call him at 469-5698. Come out and celebrate New Year’s Eve with us! It’s important that you get your tickets now, so we know how many people to expect in preparation for the dinner. 

Choir Practice: Is now being held on Thursdays at 6:00pm. New members are always welcome!

2014 Church Envelopes: Are now available for you to pick up, near the main entrance. Anyone who is not registered with the parish, please call the office and leave your name, phone number and address and we will ensure you receive a box for 2014.

St. Vincent de Paul: ‘Item of the Month’ for December is canned milk. Thank for your support.

Outreach Program Bottle Drive: Thank you for your continious generosity of donating your recyclables for our Outreach Program!

2014 St. Joseph’s Yearly Sunday Missals: are available for $5 each.

Christmas Cards: There are Christmas Cards for sale in the Sacristy for $1 each.
