Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Mass Tuesday, March 12th at 6:30pm is cancelled as Father Jan will be taking part in the Reconciliation Service where everyone is welcome to attend St. Thomas More at 7:00pm.

Stations of the Cross: During the Lenten Season, join us for Stations of the Cross every Friday at 8:30am in English and 6:30pm in Polish. Please come out and meditate and pray with us!

Easter Flowers: If you would like to make a donation to help us purchase flowers for the Altar for Easter, please put your donation in an envelope and write Easter Flowers, with your name, amount and envelope number. If you need an envelope they are on the table near the entrance of the church. Thank you for your donation!

Country Time Show: Our next show will be next Sunday, March 17th at 7:00pm. Admission is $6. Come out and enjoy the show and help support St. Anthony’s Parish! Master of Ceremonies – Al Hollingsworth with Back-up band Grover Country featuring: Hayen Stover, Yvonne MacDonald, Mike Axworthy, Jim Tynes, Lucy Fleming, Ronnie Masters. Thank you for all that you do to help our parish!

Lottery Tickets: The lottery tickets for the Polish Festival with cash prizes are now available. If you are able to help with this very important fundraiser for our church, please take a book of tickets home to sell to your friends. Please see Gordon Jewers after Mass or contact him at 469-5698.

St. Vincent de Paul Society: Item of the month for March is a jar of peanut butter. Thank you for supporting our St. Vincent de Paul Society and helping our brothers and sisters in our community.

Income Tax Receipts: Please pick up your receipt for your 2012 donations on the table near the entrance of the main door. Receipts are in alphabetical order.

St. Paul’s Church: St. Patrick’s Day Concert, 197 Windmill Rd, Sunday, March 17th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Admission $5. All things green and Irish.
