Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

Bulletin: 3rd Sunday of Lent

Thank You to Father Krzysztof Bugno: for giving such a beautiful Divine Mercy Retreat. The collection which we had on Divine Mercy Sunday was to go to Father Krzysztof for all of his hard work, teachings and homilies during the Retreat. We collected $1,053 for him. He turned the money back over to St. Anthony’s for the needs of the parish.

Country Time Show: Next Sunday, April 21st at 7:00pm in the hall. Admission $6. Spring Dance: Tickets go on sale this weekend for our dance on Saturday, April 27th. A bowl of chili is included in the $10 ticket price. For information contact Gordon Jewers at 569-5698.

Archdiocesan Extraordinary Collection: There will be a second collection on April 20-21 to support the work of Fostering Adult Faith to Renew our Parish Communities. Please read the information on the brochure handed out at Mass today. There is a special envelope in your box of church envelopes. If you did not get a brochure (we were only given a limited amount), please find more information online by clicking here where you can also pay by credit card. Thank you for your donations.

CWL Scholarship: St. Peter’s Catholic Women’s League is offering an $800 scholarship to a Grade 12 student who will be attending university or college in the Fall of 2013. Applicants must be an active member in one of the following parishes: St. Anthony’s, St. Peter’s, St. Paul’s or Immaculate Conception. The deadline date for applicants is April 30th, 2013.
