Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

St. Anthony’s Reconciliation Service: There will be confession during Adoration this Thursday, December 18th between 7:00pm-8:00pm. St. Vincent de Paul Church: Thursday, December 18th at 7:00pm

Country Time Show: This Sunday, December 14th at 7:00pm. Master of Ceremonies is Al Hollingsworth with back-up band Grover Country, featuring: Yvonne MacDonald, Darlene, Melanie & Art MacNeil, Francis Sampson, Joanne Spicer & Floyd Spicer. The lottery draw will take place during the show if you would still like to purchase tickets ~ see Gordon Jewers.

Pastoral Council: This Tuesday, December 16th at 7:00pm.

Parish Community Christmas Dinner: Please join us for a turkey dinner next Saturday, December 20th at 5:00pm (after Mass). Everyone is welcome. There will be no charge for the dinner, however, we will be accepting donations. At the main entrance there are two sign-up sheets; one with a list of items that we require for donations. If you prefer to make a monetary donation, please see John LeBlanc or Br. Nathanael. The second sign-up sheet is for anyone who is planning to attend - so we have an estimate of the amount of food to prepare.

Christmas Cakes & Items for Sale: After all Masses this weekend, Maria Dabczak will be at the main entrance if you would like to purchase anything. All proceeds go towards the parish.

Pickles & Jams: Are still available if anyone would like to stock up for Christmas. Call John LeBlanc at 469-4366.

Advent Backpack Project: Please deliver the gift bags back to the church on or before Thursday, December 18th. Please see Jennie Martell. Thanks for your support!

St. Vincent de Paul Society: Item of the month for December is pasta sauce. The donation box is located near the entrance. Thank you!
