Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Keep Christ in Christmas: Starting at St. Anthony’s Parish at 3:00pm this Sunday, December 7th; continuing to Bethel United Baptist Church, and on to St. Paul’s Church. Reception to follow at St. Paul’s. Everyone is welcome.

Country Time Show: The next Country Time Show will be next Sunday, December 14th at 7:00pm. Master of Ceremonies is Al Hollingsworth with back-up band Grover Country, featuring: Yvonne MacDonald, Darlene, Melanie & Art MacNeil, Francis Sampson, Joanne Spicer & Floyd Spicer.

Parish Community Christmas Dinner: Please join us for a turkey dinner on Saturday, December 20th at 5:00pm (after Mass). Everyone is welcome. There will be no charge for the dinner, however, we will be accepting donations. At the main entrance there are two sign-up sheets; one with a list of items that we require for donations. If you prefer to make a monetary donation, please see John LeBlanc or Br. Nathanael. The second sign-up sheet is for anyone who is planning to attend - so we have an estimate of the amount of food to prepare.

Advent Backpack Project: There are still gift bags to be filled. You can find them near both entrances of the church, with a list of suggested items inside each bag. Please deliver it back to the church on or before Thursday, December 18th. Thanks for your support!

Lottery Tickets: The draw will take place on December 14th at the Country Time Show. If anyone has ticket stubs and money to turn in, it should be back to Gordon Jewers (469.5698) as soon as possible.

St. Vincent de Paul Society: Item of the month for December is pasta sauce. The donation box is located near the entrance. Thank you!
