Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Archdiocese Information:

Save The Date: April 7th! 50th Anniversary of Episcopal Ordination of Archbishop Emeritus James M. Hayes Archbishop Hayes will celebrate his 50th anniversary of being a bishop this April. All in the archdiocese are invited to a special Mass to celebrate this momentous occasion. Please save April 7 in your calendar! On that day Archbishop Mancini will celebrate the 12:15pm Mass at Saint Mary’s Cathedral Basilica in honor of our archbishop emeritus. A reception will follow.

Lenten Video Series Continues Visit


Franciscans of Halifax: Please join us for Way of the Cross through Taize Prayer and Song Friday, March 20, 2015 at 7:00pm St. Catherine of Siena Church 6476 Bayers Road, Halifax

Country Time Show: This Sunday, March 15th at 7:00pm. Admission is $6. Master of Ceremonies is Al Hollingsworth with back-up band Grover Country, featuring: Florence Axford, Hayden Stover, Charlie Bourque, Ronnie Masters, Wayne MacKellar and Cecil MacDougall. There will be another show next Sunday. Details will be in the next bulletin.

Pastoral Council Meeting: Will be this Tuesday, March 17th at 7:00pm in the hall.

Prayer Community: There will be no prayer community this Tuesday due to the Pastoral Council meeting. The next gathering will be Tuesday, March 24th at 7:00pm in the boardroom. Everyone is welcome to join us.

Way of the Cross: Is every Thursday during Lent starting at 6:30pm followed by Adoration until 8:00pm.

Easter Flowers: If anyone would like donate towards Easter flowers, please drop a separate envelope in the collection basket with your name, envelope # and amount, so you will be credited on your income tax receipts.

St. Vincent de Paul Society: Item of the month for March is peanut butter. The donation box is located near the entrance of the church. Thank you!

Recylables: Please continue to drop off your recyclables before or after Mass. All proceeds go towards our Outreach Program. Please see Rupert Lewis (902.466.6788) or for monetary donations, please see Joanne Nelson (902.464.1981).
