Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Bulletin: Palm Sunday

Chrism Mass will take place on Tuesday, March 31st, 2015 at 12:00 noon at St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica in Halifax. All are welcome to the reception after Mass.

Divine Mercy Sunday April 12th – Mass at 3:00pm Confession starts at 2:00pm with Divine Mercy Chaplet at 2:30pm

Country Time Show: This Sunday’s show as been cancelled. The next show will be April 19th at 7:00pm. Admission is $6.

Prayer Community: There will be no prayer community until Tuesday, April 7th at 7:00pm.

Adoration: There will be no Adoration for the next two weeks; but will resume on Thursday, April 16th at 7:00pm.

Eucharistic Ministers: We are looking for more Eucharistic Ministers to bring Communion to patients at Dartmouth General Hospital. If you are interested, see Br. Nathanael.

Easter Flowers: If anyone would like donate towards Easter flowers, please drop a separate envelope in the collection basket with your name, envelope # and amount, so you will be credited on your income tax receipts.

Easter Bazaar: Maria Dabczak will be selling cakes and Easter items after all Masses this weekend. Please feel free to purchase some goodies!

Flea Market: We will be having our next flea market on May 30th and 31st. If you are doing your spring cleaning and have any good used (or new) items you no longer need, please call Gordon at 902.469.5698.

Franciscans of Halifax: The Way of the Cross through Taize Prayer and Song will be held Good Friday, April 3rd, 2015 at 7:00pm at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 6476 Bayers Road, Halifax. Everyone is welcome!
