The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

Archdiocesan Information: Mass in Honor of Those Who Died in the Middle East for Their Faith

This coming weekend, the Canada Atlantic Lieutenancy of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem (EOHSJ) will gather in Halifax to hold their Annual General meeting and Mass of Promotions (three of its members will be promoted in rank).

The Mass, on Saturday, June 20 at 4:00pm at St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica, will be offered for all who have died in the Middle East for their faith. Archbishop Mancini invites all the faithful to pray for our brothers and sisters who are being displaced, persecuted and martyred.

All are invited to attend not only this Mass at the Cathedral, but also Evening Prayer on Friday evening (June 19) at 7:00pm at St. Agnes Church, Halifax.


Country Time Show: Next Sunday, June 28th at 7:00pm. Admission is $6. Master of Ceremonies is Al Hollingsworth with Back-up Band Grover Country featuring: Vic Ivany, Frank Grandy, Billy Bob Phillips, Jim Francis, Ron & Amy Verge.

Polish Festival Raffle: We will be passing out “Grand Raffle Tickets” for the Polish Festival lottery at both entrances this weekend.  Please take a couple books to sell to your friends.  If you can help in any way with the sale of tickets please see Gordon.

Thank You: To everyone who made donations to Outreach for the poor last Saturday at the Mass for the Feast of St. Anthony. Your donations raised $309.15 and is greatly appreciated.
