The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

Bulletin: Corpus Christi

Feast of St. Anthony:
We will be celebrating Mass for the Feast of St. Anthony next Saturday, June 13
th at 11:00am ~ Fr. Francesco Pirisi, FoH will be presiding. There will also be veneration of a first class relic. A light reception will follow in the boardoom after Mass. If you would like to make a monetary donation for the poor, there will be a collection basket available.

Next Tuesday the topic will be A New Communion With Jesus

Feast of Corpus Christi: This Sunday, June 7th, we will celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi with Mass at 1:00pm and the procession starting at 1:30pm. Fr. Irek Bem will be the main celebrant. We will have two (English) Altars and two (Polish) Altars.

First Communion: We are pleased to have four of our children receive their first Communion during this Saturday’s 4:00pm Mass. Everyone is welcome to join us in the hall after Mass to continue our celebration of this joyful time for our parish community.

Thank You: To everyone who worked so hard preparing for the flea market and luncheon. Also, thank you to those who came out to support our parish. The amount of funds raised will be in next weekend’s bulletin.

Polish Festival: We will be having the Polish Festival this year on September 12 & 13. If you would like to make a monetary donation towards items needed for the festival, please use the envelope that is in your box of yearly envelopes, or put your envelope #, amount, name and address on a blank envelope and place in the Sunday collection basket. Thank you for your donations.

Volunteers Needed: We are looking for volunteers (to take one month at a time) to help with lawn care ~ mowing, raking, and the gardens. Please see Br. Nathanael or John LeBlanc if you are able to help. If anyone has a gas whipper snipper that they no longer use, it would be a great gift to the parish.

Country Time Show: The next show will be Sunday, June 28th at 7:00pm. Admission is $6.

St. Vincent de Paul: Item of the month for June is canned meat or fish.
