Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Classic Country Time Show: Happy New Year! The following are the dates for the show until Spring: January l7th, February 21st, March 20th. April i7th, May l5th and
June 19th.

Mass Intentions: We are now accepting Mass intentions for both weekend Masses. Please see Br. Nathanael it you would like the Mass to be offered for a deceased loved one or for a special intention.

2016 Church Envelopes: Are now available for you to pick up, near the main entrance. Anyone who is not registered with the parish and would like a box of 20l 6 envelopes, please see Br. Nathanael or drop your name, phone number and address in the collection basket and we will ensure you receive a box.

St. Vincent de Paul: Item of the month for January is peanut butter.

Recyclables: Please drop off your recyclables before or after Mass. You can also drop them at Rupert Lewis’ house at anytime - 10 Lahey Road - 902.466.6788.

Confessions in the Year of Mercy: Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Franciscans of Halifax-Priests will be available to hear Confessions at St. Catherine's Church, 6476 Bayers Rd. Halifax. Everyone is welcome to celebrate this Sacrament between 5:00pm - 8:00pm each Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Br. Paul's Ordination to Priesthood: Please mark your calendar for Saturday, February 6th at l0:30am. Archbishop Anthony Mancini will ordain Br. Paul Macintosh, FoH to the Priesthood at St. Man/’s Cathedral Basilica, Halifax. Everyone is welcome to attend. Please keep Br. Paul in your prayers.
