Welcome to St. Anthony's Church.

The people of St. Anthony's Parish and St. Faustina Kowalska Polish Mission, part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Halifax, are called to be "The People of God". Our faith in God's unconditional love for us, as evidenced in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and, as testified to by his church, gives us a firm hope in our salvation and the salvation of the world. We respond to God's love with adoration, thanksgiving, and petition through worship and prayer, and charity to our neighbour

We invite you to discover the richness of our parish. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Br. Paul’s Ordination to Priesthood: Next Saturday, February 6th at 10:30am. Archbishop Anthony Mancini will ordain Br. Paul MacIntosh, FoH to the Priesthood at St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica, Halifax. Everyone is welcome to attend. Please keep Br. Paul in your prayers.

Rupert’s 80th Birthday: Everyone is welcome to attend a drop-in birthday celebration for Rupert Lewis next Saturday, February 6th, in our parish hall, from 12:00pm and ending before the 4:00pm Mass. Please stop by to wish Rupert ‘Happy Birthday’.

Catechism: Continues next Saturday,February 6th at 3:00pm.

Polish Luncheon: Next Sunday, February 7th at 2:00pm (after Mass in Polish) in the hall. The cost is $10 per person.

Ash Wednesday: Mass will be at 7:00pm on February 10th.

Classic Country Time Show: The next show is Sunday, February 21th at 7:00pm.

Mass Intentions: We are accepting Mass intentions for both weekend Masses. Please see Br. Nathanael if you would like the Mass to be offered for a deceased loved-one or for a special intention.

Annual Draw: Please see Gordon Jewers (469.5698) if you can help out with the draw by purchasing or selling tickets. Gordon will be at the main of entrance of the church after Mass.

St. Vincent de Paul: Item of the month for February is canned meat or fish.

Recyclables: Please drop off your recyclables – before or after Mass. You can also drop them at Rupert Lewis’ house at anytime - 10 Lahey Road, or call him at902. 466.6788.
